Well-travelled, highly skilled, and situationally charming, she cuts an impressive figure with both words and stature. Alenna carries herself with quiet confidence, careful with her honeyed words and pointed barbs. ㅤmessy family politics have to be good for something.ㅤㅤAlenna was raised with a golden spoon in their mouth, and they know it. The privilege afforded to her on both sides of their family has not escaped her reach, and has been passed down for generations.
On one side, they have her mother: Sohelia bihn Sabri, and her maternal grandmother Mariyaam bihn Sabri, the latter of whom is the matriarch of their far-reaching family. Starting from humble beginnings as textile artists, the Sabri family invested what little fortune into their future: ships and freighting. This evolved with time into a bonafide empire, their many vessels trusted with freighting goods across the star. Textile work is still a common pastime to those within the family, and their guilds dedicated to those arts still operate today.
On the other side, they have the noble house Sarris, native to the now-defunct Garlemald. The family has always been more focused on politics, but many of their number have been in positions related to magitek. This ended up manifesting in the (recently deceased) heir's investment into experimental magitek research, which was recently shifted into Alenna's hands. It is her intention to spread magitek beyond Garlemald's borders — for a price, of course.
Her own personal ventures are fairly limited, but her biggest recent investment has been into the realm of luxury airships, meant primarily as a mode of vacation transport — though few are available for purchase. One such airship has been made into Alenna's primary abode, housing her personal lab, a full roster of household staff, and those who work under her that she considers important enough to keep around.
